I2X4The I2X4 is an E8870 based 4U server from ION Computer Systems. It can have up to four Madison processors. It has 16 DIMM sockets which support 256MB, 512MB, 1GB or 2GB DIMMs, loaded in matched quads. On the motherboard, it has an Intel e1000, an IDE port, two LSI Ultra320 SCSI ports, USB ports and an ATI Rage XL video chip. It has 3 Ultra-320 SCSI drive bays, a CD-ROM drive and a floppy drive. It has eight PCI-X expansion slots. Three of them run at 133 MHz and five of them run at 100MHz. |
